1. Who we are

Tecnet Pakistan (https://tecnetpakistan.com) is a free temporary email service based in Pakistan. We provide disposable email inboxes that people use to receive one-time passwords (OTPs) and verification emails without exposing their real email address. This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what choices you have.

2. Information we collect

Temporary inboxes and emails. When you generate a temporary inbox, we store the inbox address and the emails sent to it so the service can display them to you. Temporary inboxes and their emails are automatically deleted when the inbox expires. Permanent inboxes created by registered users are kept until the user deletes them or closes their account.

Account information. If you register an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. We never store your password in plain text. If you purchase a Premium plan, payment is processed by our payment providers (such as JazzCash or PayPal); we do not receive or store your full card or bank details.

Technical information. Like almost every website, our servers automatically record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you visit. We use this information to keep the service secure, prevent abuse and understand how the website is used.

3. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

• Essential cookies — needed for the website to work, for example keeping you logged in and remembering security settings.
• Preference cookies — remember choices such as your light/dark theme and language.
• Analytics and advertising cookies — set by Google Analytics and Google AdSense, described in the next section.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website from working correctly.

4. Google AdSense, Google Analytics and third-party advertising

We use Google AdSense to show advertisements on this website and Google Analytics to understand visitor numbers and usage in aggregate form.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the Internet.

• To show advertising that helps keep the free service free.
• To reply to messages you send us.

6. How long we keep information

Temporary inbox emails are deleted automatically when the inbox expires (60 minutes on the free plan). Registered users' permanent inboxes are kept until deleted by the user. Account information is kept while your account is active. Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or anonymised.

7. Sharing information

We share information only with the service providers we need to run the website (for example hosting, email delivery, analytics, advertising and payment providers), and only to the extent they need it to provide their service. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the safety and rights of our users and the public.

8. Security

We use HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords and access controls to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not use a temporary inbox for banking, government, medical or other important accounts, or for anything you may need to recover later.

9. Children

This service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Your choices and changes to this policy

You may delete your permanent inboxes at any time from your account, and you may ask us to delete your account by contacting us. We may update this policy from time to time; the current version will always be posted on this page with its updated date.
